Applies to EXOSTIV Dashboard used from a X Windows systems in Linux

We received reports of keyboard mapping being scrambled when using EXOSTIV Dashboard: a key was typed and another appeared in EXOSTIV Dashboard application.
When such a problem occurs, look for the following error appearing when starting up EXOSTIV Dashboard application:

“Qt: XKEYBOARD extension not present on the X Server.”

This extension is normally installed by default in CentOS, Red Hat, … Linux systems.

Please contact your IT Administrator to check why the used X Server systems does not use the XKB (XKEYBOARD) extension.
