When using ‘netlist insertion mode’, Exostiv Dashboard establishes a connection with Xilinx Vivado tool to configure EXOSTIV IP. This connection allows browsing the target design loaded into Vivado, view and select nodes and clock signals that have to be connected to Exostiv IP. Ultimately, this connection also allows inserting EXOSTIV IP automatically into the target design.

For node-locked and floating licenses, both Vivado and Exostiv Dashboard must run on the same machine.
