How do I match transceivers on my board with these on the probe?

Connecting Exostiv to your probe requires adding a connector or reusing an already existing one.
For guidelines, please refer to the Exostiv Connecting Guide.

The Exostiv Probe features 2 types of connectors: a ‘custom connector’ (physically, an HDMI connector) or 4 SFP/SFP+ cages.
You might wonder how the mapping must be done between your board’s transceivers and these of the Exostiv Probe – and whether you are authorized to connect any transceiver from your board to any transceiver on the probe…

The answer is ‘yes, absolutely’. Exostiv Probe features a special mechanisms that manages channels swaps within the same bank, as well as ‘polarity swaps’ for each transceiver channel. The only condition is that all the transceivers used for the connection must be located in the same FPGA bank.
