This article covers EP16000 probe using Windows 10 / Windows 11 OS. For EP12000 probe-related questions, please refer to the corresponding article.

Under Windows 10 / Windows 11, the driver should be pre-installed as part of the Windows updates.
However, in the case the driver is not already available, connecting the EP16000 will result in the Windows device manager reporting that no driver is available, and you wil have to install it manually.

The driver is available from the FTDI drivers page – we currently use version 1.3.0.10 of the driver (click here to download driver).
