I have a permanent / perpetual license, but I see it has expired. What happened?
If you purchased a permanent / perpetual license from Exostiv Labs, it means that your license was provided with full support during an initial period.
During this period, you are able to use our technical support and update your Exostiv Dashboard software to the latest version.
Once this period of validity has expired, having a ‘perpetual license’ means that the Exostiv Dashboard software will keep on working at the latest version available then.
Practically, you will not be able to update to any future version unless you purchase a maintenance again – please contact us or your local distributor.
If you had activated your license online, going to Help > Manage license will let you see which version you are allowed to use. (For floating licenses, this information is available from the license server interface).
If you had activated your license offline, your license will first go to an ‘expired’ state. You’ll need to activate your license again to keep it functioning.
