Error : 0x80030103

When trying to connect the Exostiv Probe to the target design, I receive the following message in the log window – what’s wrong?
‘Error : Failed to align EXOSTIV IP’s’ downstream link (Error : 0x80030103).’

This message means that the probe is unable to establish a connection with the IP that is in the FPGA.

It is likely a configuration or a setup issue.

Please check the following:
– Does the bitstream loaded in the FPGA contain the right Exostiv IP instance, that corresponds to the project open in the Exostiv Dashboard software?
– Check the cable connection; if you use a plugin adapter, check if it is properly plugged in.
– Check that the target design is running, properly powered and that all the clocks are running.
– Check that the specified transceivers pinout is correct.
– Check that the reference clock for the transceivers enters the pin that you specified in the project AND is running at the specified frequency.
– If you use the project in RTL mode, did you use the right files to proceed with project implementation / place and route?
– Did you load the right bitstream into the target FPGA?
– Did you connect the cable to the right connector?
– If you are using multiple SFP+ connectors on the probe, did you connect all the ones defined in the IP ‘link configuration’?

If the above is ok and it still does not work, please submit a support ticket, providing your project file and all the information that can help.
