I have connected the probe to my PC or Mac. The Exostiv Probe connect status is still not on. What’s wrong?

Establishing a connection over USB with Exostiv Dashboard requires that you manually push the ‘connect probe’ button in the interface.
Physically connecting the probe with the USB cable is not sufficient to have the Exostiv Dashboard trying to detect an EXOSTIV IP in your design and establish connection with it over the transceivers.

– Linux OS: libusb must be used properly: https://www.exostivlabs.com/knowledgebase/how-to-use-libusb-without-administrator-privileges/
– MacOS: no specific requirement to connect the probe over USB.
